Kaitlin and her friend Aspen (who will be famous some day) sat around our house last night playing guitar and singing and I was in awe of them. Kaitlin just started playing for real this week but Aspen has been playing for a year now. They both write their own songs and sing like stars. It blew me away. I n\know how far fetched this is but I sat there listening to them and realized that maybe, possibly, someday, I might be interviewed by Rolling STone Magazine saying, "I feel like it was yesterday that they were 10 years old and strumming their guitars in my living room. Aspen dad is in the music business and Aspen has already played a few gigs herself. I feel thankful for Kaitlin to know her because she lights the fire under her fanny and inspires her to work harder at her craft (I hate that word). It was pretty awesome listening to them. I kind of wanted Aspen's autograph. LOL (These photos are completely unedited and compliments of my new external flash. They were taken in an almost dark room...pretty good lighting ha?)
