Today was Jack's first day with his class pet, Puff. Puff is a magic webkin dragon. He comes in a fancy bag full of games, puzzles, and books, and his very own website. Jack is beyond thrilled that he gets to spend the week with Puff, and reign as the King of the Castle at school (until Friday). I am just thrilled that he has a reason to look foward to school each day.....even if it is just for a week.
All of the sudden, I'm feelin my class pet isn't as cool as Jack's class pet. Mine is named Ellie the Elephant. After looking through Puff's bag....I think he needs to add daddy to his name. Puff daddy's crib is SwEeT. My poor Ellie is all alone with just a journal in his bag. My student's better not find out about how cool Puff's little setup is. Ellie needs an upgrade. Puff Daddy has raised the bar in the world of class pets. I gotcha back Ellie. We'll take it up a notch.
