So I took a good look at my 10 year old daughter yesterday before we left the house for school, and I have to admit, I was a little jealous. She looked so cool. She scored a 10 on the cuteness scale, sporting two of my absolute favorite pieces, converse and striped knee highs. The craziest thing is that I wore a very similar outfit in 6th grade. I still wear converse and striped socks....just on the weekends and under jeans. I love the new risks she is taken with her style. She is so fun and cute and I just love her.

On a really cool note....she made ALL STATE CHORUS!! We will be traveling to south Atlanta in November to spend the weekend competing against other young singers her age. She's really loving singing and playing guitar. I have several videos I still need to post.

Kaitlin....just so you know...I think your fabulous. But don't get a big head about all of this or G.G. will surely bring you back down to earth.....just ask NANA!
