I still can't believe Kaitlin stood on the same stage as Elvis Presley. The Ryman Auditorium was very cool....rich in history and as beautiful as all get out. Part of the tour was having your picture made on the stage where many legends have played. She was pumped about this.
I caught a glance of this sign in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame and thought of my sweet girl. She is a big dreamer for sure!
There were many weddings happening downtown. I got a kick out of the boots the bridesmaids wore for one of the weddings (no pun intended). And the horse and buggy melted my heart. I seriously considered crashing the wedding, but thought we'd better not.

And this is Kaitlin after a coke and twizzlers. I threw out all of my usual rules about food and let her splurge. This was the result. She literally lost it. She was acting like a crazy fool! We weren't sure what to do with her. Thank goodness it lasted only a short while, and thank goodness my mom and I have a sense of humor. She had fun, but she also learned how sugar affects the human body!
What a fun trip. We ended up getting tired after a long day of walking and went back to the hotel room to play board games and eat. We got 12 solid hours of sleep both nights! Awesome. Thank you dad and Yvette for making this trip possible!! A special trip with my mom and daughter is something I never imagined would happen. A very sweet surprise made some very happy memories.
