SWEET!

Cool news for this girl.....

1. She won first place in the reflections contest for music composition! Woot Woot! She's movin onto the county competetion now.....keep your fingers crossed grandparents!

2. She sang in the talent show for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade and rocked out J.J heller's song "Love Me"....made us cry! Video to come....it takes hours to upload.

3. Thanks to her dear friend Aspen....she got to be in a music video last weekend! The artists name is Ben Lovett, and he shot his first video at the ATL zoo last weekend. She got to "clap and jump over a rail"......(in her own words). Not sure if the guy will ever make it big, but it was a cool experience for Kaitlin and Aspen to have at such a young age. I'll post the video here if she doesn't end up being cut from it.

Besides all this, she's not loving middle school. She is starting to feel the pressure of the work load and responsisbility. BOTH of my kids want me to home school them. They have both cried recently and asked me if I would. Really? I could homeschool Jack, but Kaitlin being in 6th grade???? That sounds like a lot of studyding on my part. We'll see. You never know what God has in store. He surprises me daily.
