We had storms today, and the kids do NOT like them. I decided to tell funny stories while we waited on the basement stairs for it to pass. We had such a good time, laughed harder than we have laughed in a long time, and had quality time that we otherwise would not have had today. Funny how much joy we got out of such a scary storm. Very much how life works. God seems to always make beautiful music out of the scariest storms in our lives.
