The kids decided it was time to pick out their Halloween costumes today. It's always such a BIG decision for them, and they put so much thought into what they want to be. Well, Kaitlin does. Jack usually picks the first costume that allows him to carry a gun of some sort and goes with it. Kaitlin, on the other hand, stresses out about it to no end. This year was no different than any other. She narrowed down her choices to 3 costumes, but they all had something about them that bothered her. And let me tell you....it is not easy to find an appropriate costume online. I am grossed out at most of the choices. Why do all women's costumes have to make girls look like call girls? I don't get it. I never will. I really don't like Halloween. Or the way our culture portrays women as objects. It's so rediculous. I think I've mentioned this a few hundred times. I'll keep that little rant to myself this year.
They finally made their decisions and we ordered them today. But you'll have to wait to see what they will be! :)
