Kaitlin and Aspen are getting ready for their big debut at my school Christmas party. She's excited that 170 teachers and staff will get to hear her and Aspen sing 2 awesome Christmas songs. They practiced this weekend at our house and brought tears to my eyes. I have to remind myself a lot that she is more than a girl messing around on the guitar....she is a girl with BIG dreams. I admire her a lot. I admire them both. They sound beautiful together.
Miss KK had a solo at the Christmas chorus performance. I hear her sing all the time and I was proud of how well she did under all that pressure. She made one of her teachers cry!
After the chorus performed, Kaitlin performed with the school's dance team. They were great! Love the outfits....hated the pictures. They may have been the worst photos I have ever taken. Clearly I need better equipment if I am going to raise a stage performer!!!
And this has been what Jack has done for a couple of days now. He and Lego Star Wars are BFF's. Do you see the planner next to him? That is what he got me for Christmas. Apparently he knows his mama quite well. I could use a planner...or a personal assistant!
And this is what losing the online game looks like. This is the quiet version. Ear plugs are needed for the loud version. This sweet, sad face is followed by a lot of sad noise. But oh how cute are those lips???
Love the pics of Jack, he just cracks me up! And Kaitlin, she is going to be so famous some day. I hope there is a way you can record her singing at your school Christmas party, I would love to hear her :)
