i am beginning to get a taste of what raising a teenager is like. i'm scared.
kaitlin told me today that i have no idea what it is like to be her age. it has been twenty years, but it feels like yesterday. i DO know, and it's awful.....but i survived. and i am determined to get her through the next few years of her life with a lot of love and support. my prayer is that she somehow maintains her sweetness and keeps her smile through all the confusion. if not, she can always write a few songs about her struggle. it worked for taylor swift!
